Instagram users criticize Stavropol authorities for weakening self-isolation regime
As of today, the number of COVID-19 infections registered in the Stavropol Territory has reached 1367; 17 patients are in grave condition. Authorities are loosening restrictions, despite the worsening of the coronavirus situation in the region, Instagram commentators believe.
Over the past 24 hours, COVID-19 was confirmed in other 59 patients, Vladimir Vladimirov, the Governor of the Stavropol Territory, has written today in his Instagram page. "Now 17 patients are in grave condition; other 82 are of moderate gravity. For all the time, 486 patients have recovered," he wrote.
These statistics has raised questions among social network users concerning measures taken by the authorities. "What was the reason to abolish the self-isolation, if there's such an increase in coronavirus incidence?" the user vladimirpetrov1548 asks.
"If the situation doesn't change at the moment, the number of infected people is on the rise, then why do you loosen the regime and reopen organizations? When the infection rate was much lower, you called everyone to self-isolate; and now, when the number of cases increases every day, you give the green light to people!" the user tomilinamarina5449 has stressed the contradictions in the authorities' actions.
