Azerbaijan accuses Armenia of shelling two villages

Within the past 24 hours, the positions of the Azerbaijani Army stationed in the villages on the border with Armenia and in the Karabakh conflict zone were shelled for about 25 times, including from machine guns and sniper rifles, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD) has informed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on May 5, Azerbaijan counted 24 shelling attacks on its military units deployed in the Karabakh conflict zone, and the day earlier claimed 22 cases of ceasefire violations.

The positions of the Azerbaijani Army stationed in the villages of Geyali and Zamanly and on the nameless heights of the Gadabay District came under fire, the Azerbaijani MoD has reported. Azerbaijani positions were also shelled from the territories treated by Baku as its occupied ones.
