Makhi Idrisov flees arrest in Makhachkala

Ramzan Kadyrov's friend Makhi Idrisov, who was placed under house arrest in a case on illicit arms trafficking, fled investigation. Makhi Idrisov was put on the federal wanted list, the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Dagestan reports today.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Makhi Idrisov was detained in September 2019. During searches at his place, law enforcers found a pump-action shotgun, three Kalashnikov submachine guns, grenades, several pistols, and a collection of cold steel arms. The court of Makhachkala placed Makhi Idrisov under house arrest.

According to the spokesperson for the Dagestani MIA's press service, Makhi Idrisov was put on the federal wanted list as early as February 10, the "Ren-TV" reports on its website today.

The decision to put him on the wanted list was made after Makhi Idrisov had fled house arrest, the TASS reports today with reference to the Dagestani MIA.

Photos posted on the Makhi Idrisov's page in Instagram suggest his friendship with the leader of Chechnya.
