Three Dagestanis disappear in Chechnya after posting video near mosque building

Relatives of three residents of Derbent reported their disappearance in Grozny. One of the disappeared persons criticized the authorities of Chechnya, and shortly before their disappearance, the Derbent residents posted a video on social networks with them smoking in front of the "Heart of Chechnya" Mosque. Instagram users suggested that fact became the reason for their disappearance.

The fact that three disappeared residents of Derbent, including 30-year-old Nillan Aliev, 35-year-old Seidaidin Mustafaev, and 62-year-old Khakim Askerov, are being looked for in Chechnya has been reported by Nargiz, a mother of Nillan Aliev. According to the woman, all three men left Derbent in a Lada Kalina car on February 9.

Employees of the "Tourist" hostel where the residents of Derbent stayed reported that all three Dagestanis left on February 10 and never entered the hostel again, a newspaper reports. On February 11, the relatives of the disappeared men appealed to the law enforcement bodies of Chechnya and Dagestan. However, so far, the search did not succeed.

According to the relatives of the disappeared men, on February 10, one of the Derbent residents created a new Instagram page and uploaded a lot of photos and videos made, presumably, in Chechnya. "On some videos, one of the guys is sitting in front of the 'Heart of Chechnya' Mosque, smoking, and wishing brothers happiness," the "Baza" Telegram channel reports today. "And, according to relatives, earlier, one of them left negative comments under posts of the leaders of the republic," the Telegram channel also reports.

The reason for the disappearance of the Derbent residents was their behaviour in Grozny and criticism of the leaders of Chechnya, suggest users in their comments on social networks.
