Social network users call on to punish Islam Kadyrov and his subordinates

A video about the brutality of Islam Kadyrov, the former Mayor of Grozny, also describes the methods applied by other Chechen officials, some users of social networks believe. They expressed their astonishment by the fact that the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) is not going to punish accomplices of the former Mayor.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the MIA launched a check after a video was posted on the Internet in which Islam Kadyrov, the former Mayor of Grozny, was threatening local residents with reprisals and using an electric stunning device.

By 3:50 p.m. Moscow time, a fragment of the same video, posted on October 24 on the page "ChP Grozny" on Instagram, gained 33,100 views and 376 comments. Many Instagram users noted that they were awaiting punishment of both Islam Kadyrov and his subordinates involved in torture. "His subordinates who accompanied him then should also be punished," wrote user mestniy0509506. "I was more shocked by the people who were accompanying him and by those who were officially filming all that. I have a question to them: did you sleep well after all?" commented user joxypooof.

The video with the former Mayor of Grozny provoked claims against Chechen officials as a whole. "I hope that <Islam Kadyrov> will be imprisoned. And all accomplices will also be imprisoned," wrote user anzor.tl." These are the methods of all Kadyrov's subordinates," stated user kumaiev.
