"Memorial" answers questions about "Return of Names" action

The "Memorial" has prepared tips for organizers of an action with reading the names of victims of political repressions in Russia concerning how to prepare a list of names and how to inform people about the action.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that since 1991, on October 30, Russia marks the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Political Repressions.

On October 29, on the eve of the Day of Remembrance, many cities of Russia and abroad will host the action "Return of Names", participants of which will read the names of the persons who fell victim to the repressions and information about them, including age, profession, and sentence. The action was initiated by the "Memorial".

It is possible to use crowdfunding to cover the costs of the action. And it is important to report about the action, including in social networks and the media and also by distributing posters and publishing the information on the website "Returns of Names", the "Memorial" recommends.
