Woman-KBR native disappears in Moscow after law enforcers' visit

Regina Migirova, 30, has gone missing in Moscow after she was taken away to some unknown place by law enforcers, who broke into her apartment, the woman's brother has reported.

The brother, Yaroslav Migirov, 29, a native of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR), has turned to the Human Rights Centre (HRC) "Memorial" for help in finding his sister. He said that Regina called him on Tuesday and said that a group of people were breaking the door into the apartment where she lived. After this, Yaroslav could not contact Regina for several hours.

"Regina has been living in Moscow for about five years; she rented an apartment; and the FMS (Federal Migration Service) had no questions to her. It's unclear what made FMS employees to break the door and take the girl away, not allowing her to contact her relatives. We don't know what she accused of," the HRC "Memorial" writes in its website.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported about the detention on December 19, 2018, a Moscow hostel, of more than 100 people, including natives from Chechnya, Ingushetia, Dagestan and the KBR. The detainees told that law enforcers behaved rudely, and applied physical force to some detainees.
