Second Chechen resident within a day publicly apologizes for his behaviour at wedding party

A resident of Chechnya publicly apologized for a joking communication with his bride at a wedding party. Ramzan Kadyrov demanded to expel from the republic the men who violated the wedding traditions of the Vainakh people.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 24, at his meeting with Ministers, Ramzan Kadyrov condemned a resident of Chechnya, who shot a video with his daughter on her wedding day, in contradiction to the Chechen traditions. The man himself recorded a video with an apology for his "unworthy act."

The resident of Chechnya, who shot a video together with his bride at a wedding party, also posted a video with his apology.

"My name is Khavazhi. I was on the video from the wedding party where I was joking with my wife. This is not an act worthy of a man. I will try not to allow such behaviour anymore. I appeal to young people to prevent such kind of behaviour. According to our Chechen traditions, this is unacceptable for adats," said the young man as translated from Chechen by the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

On September 24, in its night news, the "Grozny" TV Channel showed a report from the meeting with the heads of ministries and departments, at which Ramzan Kadyrov criticized violators of the Chechen traditions. The TV story, also posted on the YouTube channel of the ChGTRK (Chechen TV and Radio Company), shows a monologue delivered by the leader of Chechnya. Ramzan Kadyrov shows videos from wedding parties on the screen of his smart phone and emotionally comments on the behaviour contradicting the Chechen wedding traditions.

"Such creatures spoil the history of our fathers ... It's a shame. I will not leave such creatures in the republic," the leader of Chechnya said emotionally as translated from Chechen by the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
