In Quarter 1 of 2019, four people fell victim to armed conflict in Ingushetia

In January-March 2019, in Ingushetia, four people suffered from the armed conflict: one was killed and three others – wounded. These are the results of the calculations run by the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from open sources.

The deceased was a law enforcer; and two law enforcers and one civilian were wounded. All the victims were in January of 2019; in February and March, no conflict victims were reported in Ingushetia.

The "Caucasian Knot" emphasizes that the above statistics does not present accurately, with 100% precision, the real number of victims. Not all the data gets into news bulletins. It is not always possible to check the truthfulness of the statements of law enforcement bodies; while new data on the events that happened during the reporting period sometimes become known after the publication of the statistics by the "Caucasian Knot".

In 2017, at least 24 people fell victim to the armed conflict in Ingushetia: 11 were killed and 13 others wounded.

In 2016, there were 19 conflict victims in Ingushetia, of which 15 were killed and 4 others were wounded.

In 2015, Ingushetia had at least 21 conflict victims: 16 were killed and five were wounded.

In 2014, at least 37 conflict victims were recorded in Ingushetia, including 21 killed and 16 wounded persons; and in 2013, at least 94 people suffered, of whom 36 were killed and 58 others wounded.
