Social network users doubt possibility of Kadyrov's personal discussion with Tumso

By his invitation to a discussion about the historical role of Akhmat Kadyrov, the blogger, Tumso Abdurakhmanov, has put the head of Chechnya in a difficult position; and Ramzan Kadyrov is unlikely to respond to the blogger's invitation, social network users and residents of Chechnya interviewed by the "Caucasian Knot" have suggested.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on August 15, the blogger, Tumso Abdurakhmanov, invited Kadyrov to discuss the historical role of Akhmat Kadyrov, warning him that he would ask "uncomfortable" questions.

"It's very easy to sit 150 Jordan Chechens in front of you, since they won't contradict and ask uneasy questions. If you can prove [your rightness] to anyone, then try to prove it to me," Tumso Abdurakhmanov has addressed the head of Chechnya in his live broadcast, the record of which was posted on the blogger's YouTube channel.

The residents of Chechnya, interviewed by the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent, mainly expressed doubts that Ramzan Kadyrov would accept Tumso Abdurakhmanov's invitation.

"Kadyrov kept insisting that he was ready to prove to anyone that at the time, his father had chosen the right way; now, he is invited to an open debate on these issues. Ramzan faced a rather difficult choice. If he accept the challenge, there is every risk of falling into a stupid position; if he refuses, it'll turn out that he was afraid to enter into a dispute," said Idris, a local resident.

"I think that Ramzan Kadyrov will simply ignore this invitation; and his subordinates and local TV will launch another campaign aiming to discredit Tumso," said Sakhab, another resident of Chechnya.
