Nagorno-Karabakh claims 90 shelling attacks from Azerbaijan over a week

In the period from July 7 to 13, the Azerbaijani armed forces more than 90 times violated the ceasefire regime on the contact line and made about 800 shots, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) for Nagorno-Karabakh reported.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in the period from June 30 to July 6, Nagorno-Karabakh registered 100 shelling attacks from Azerbaijan.

The Azerbaijani side notes that shelling attacks almost stopped after a meeting of officials from the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and Azerbaijan on June 20.

According to the Nagorno-Karabakh MoD, the army of the unrecognized republic "strictly adheres to the ceasefire agreement."

During the week, Azerbaijan reported that the situation on the line of contact between the troops was calm and only rare shots violated the ceasefire regime. On July 11, the OSCE Mission did not register any violations of the ceasefire in the Karabakh conflict zone.
