Founder of Chechen "Vayfond" set free in Sweden

Mansur Sadulaev, the head of the Association of Chechen People named "Vayfond" is back at large after Sweden refused to extradite him to Russia. He said that Russian law enforcers believe him guilty of calls to terrorism.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the blogger, Tumso Abdurakhmanov, informed that Sadulaev had been detained on July 8, upon his arrival in Sweden. However, according to "Vayfond", a Swedish prosecutor refused to extradite Sadulaev to Russia.

Mansur Sadulaev himself has explained that Germany had added him to the list of persons threatening the security of Europe. "I believe they did this at the behest of Russian authorities," he has stated, adding that in Russia, he had been placed on the federal wanted list, and under the presentation made by Germany, he cannot enter the Schengen zone for five years.

The ""Vayfond" Association is positioning itself as an international non-profit association of "Chechen people, Chechen organizations and communities of the European Union and the Council of Europe member states."
