Relatives report kidnapping of three Derbent residents

On June 15, relatives of Islam Barzukaev, Mirazali Mirzaliev and Gasan Kurbanov, residents of Derbent, turned to the police to report their kidnapping. On June 16, it became known that all the three were detained for weapon possession, relatives reported.

According to the mother of Islam Barzukaev, 26, on June 15, her son drove out of home to the fuelling station, in order then to drive to Makhachkala "about work", after which he was not in touch, the "Kavkaz.Realii" has reported.

According to the same edition, Mirazali Mirzaliev, 29, a fixed-route minivan-taxi, was stopped on the same day in Makhachkalinskaya Street. Law enforcers asked passengers to leave the minivan, and the driver and his "Gazel" were detained.

Gasan Kurbanov, 29, was also detained on June 15 on his way to work. He worked as a furniture assembler "practically without days-off," the "Kavkaz.Realii" reports with reference to Zeinab, Kurbanov's aunt.

On June 15, having no information about young people's whereabouts, their relatives turned to the police and stated the kidnappings. On June 16, they managed to find out that the detainees were kept in the building of one of power structures and accused of illegal weapon possession.

However, in relatives' opinion, the weapons could be planted on them.
