In Armenia, activists who staged a protest action against the Prime Minister, Nikol Pashinyan, were taken to the police, the NGO "Adekvad" has reported. Law enforcers have stated that all those detained for an administrative offense were released.

According to organizers, several dozen people took part in the protest; they wrote the hashtag "#SutNikol" (#FalseNikol) on roadways in the centre of Yerevan and 12 other cities. "We call our action 'The Birth of Lie' in honour of the birthday of Nikol Pashinyan, the Armenian Premier," the NGO "Adequad" has emphasized.

29 protesters were detained, the "Interfax" quotes NGO activists as saying.
