GPO reports five complaints after blocking courthouses in Armenia

Applications on illegal actions during the blocking of courthouses in Armenia have been received from two judges and three advocates, the General Prosecutor's Office (GPO) has informed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in response to Robert Kocharian's release from custody, Nikol Pashinyan called on his supporters to blocking courthouses, which was performed; and the courts could not start work on May 20. In the afternoon of that day, Pashinyan thanked his supporters and urged them to stop the action.

Five applications about illegal actions at blocking courthouses across the country were received by the GPO, Arevik Khachatryan, the GPO's press secretary, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent today. According to his story, they all have been sent to the Special Investigating Service (SIS) for conducting a check.

One of the applications was submitted by a judge of the Administrative Court, the second – by the head of the machinery of the Constitutional Court, and three others were submitted by advocates, the "News-Armenia" reports with reference to its source from the GPO.
