Azerbaijan reports 22 shelling attacks in the conflict zone

The ceasefire in the Karabakh conflict zone was violated for 22 times during the last 24 hours; two border villages came under fire, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD) has informed today.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on May 21, the Azerbaijani MoD counted 20 shelling attacks in the conflict zone.

On May 21-22, the ceasefire regime was violated for 22 times, the Azerbaijani MoD has reported on its website today. The positions of the Azerbaijani militaries were shelled in the village of Kemerli in the Gazakh District and in the village of Agdam in the Tovuz District, the MoD reports. The shelling was carried out both from Armenia and from the positions "near the occupied villages", says the message.

As of 8:50 a.m. Moscow time today, the websites of the MoDs of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh made no comments regarding this message.
