Gallup International's survey shows drop in credit of Nikol Pashinyan's personnel
Significantly lower number of Armenian residents positively assesses the personnel policy of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, but his personal rating remains quite high. This follows from the Gallup International's survey. The real rating of the Armenian Prime Minister fell more dramatically, and that can be explained by his poor work, believes political consultant Armen Badalyan.
The personnel policy of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, a year after he had come to power, was positively assessed by 57.7% of respondents, whereas six months ago, his personnel policy was supported by 76.4% of respondents.
Akop Badalyan, a political commentator of the "Lragir.am", finds logical the drop in the rating of the power given the diversity of the society's expectations, while the rating of Nikol Pashinyan himself remains quite high.
The drop in the rating is unlikely associated with the promises unfulfilled by the authorities, notes Akop Badalyan. Meanwhile, he believes that Nikol Pashinyan did not make any fundamental mistakes.
Political consultant Armen Badalyan described the lack of the agenda for the development of the country and, in particular, the concept of economic development, as the main mistake of Nikol Pashinyan.
Political analyst Grant Mikaelyan believes that the Armenian Prime Minister's rating is falling more slowly than many analysts predicted. According to Grant Mikaelyan, the society has high expectations from the new government.
Among the Nikol Pashinyan's mistakes, the political analyst mentioned the support of LGBT people and the fact that the Prime Minister assumed too much power. As a result, "the quality of governance suffers," the political analyst believes.
