Suspect of plotting terror acts detained in Stavropol Territory
Law enforcers have detained a suspected member of the "Islamic State" (IS), a terrorist organization banned in Russia by the court, who was planning to commit terror acts in the Stavropol Territory, the FSB has reported.
According to law enforcers, a resident of the Stavropol Territory had sworn allegiance to the IS and planned to commit terror acts in the region. He faces up to 20 years in prison.
Law enforcers are establishing his possible accomplices, the "Komsomolskaya Pravda" writes.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported earlier that law enforcers had detained a native of Dagestan, suspected of preparing terror acts in the Stavropol Territory.
