The employees of the Committee against Torture (CaT) and the cameraman, detained by law enforcers during filming in Nazran, were released after checking documents, Igor Kalyapin, the CaT head, has informed.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on May 7, in Nazran, law enforcers detained the CaT employees, Magomed Alamov and Evgeny Chilikov, and the cameraman Leonid Utkin.
All the detainees have been set free, Mr Kalyapin announced on May 7.
"They all are back at large; the incident has been settled," the website of the Russian Presidential Council on Human Rights quotes him as saying.
Law enforcers did not detain the CaT staff and the cameraman; they only checked their documents, the "Interfax" writes with reference to its competent source.
"In Nazran, when they were filming, law enforcers asked them to introduce themselves and show documents," said the source. According to his version the film crew was immediately released.
