Two teenagers wounded in Dagestan
Children were hospitalized with gunshot wounds after they played with weapons found in the Levashi District.
The incident occurred on March 14 in the village of Khadjalmakhi.
Four teenagers were playing in the outskirts of the village; in one of the unfinished houses they found a "Saiga" carbine, the "LezgiGazet" wrote on March 14 with reference to the press service of the Dagestani Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).
According to the MIA, it was an accident. While examining the carbine, one of the teenagers accidentally pulled the trigger and fired; the bullet hit the shooter in the thigh and touched only soft tissues; besides, it crushed the femur bone of the second teen, the police have stated.
Both teenagers were hospitalized; one of them was taken to the Levashi Central District Hospital; doctors estimate his condition as moderate, the TASS reports quoting the press service of the Ministry of Public Health of Dagestan.
The second teenager in grave condition was taken to the Children's Republic's Clinical Hospital, the boy is operated on, said the ministry.
