Ingushetia: employees of "Tesham" Fund tell about law enforcers' visit

Ingush activists have linked the seizure of documents from the "Tesham" Charity Fund with the participation of its leaders in protests. The police carried out a routine inspection; law enforcers have no claims to the work of the Fund, "Tesham" employees have stated.

The "Tesham" (Trust) Fund was established in 2013. In 2014, it won the contest "Civil Society Heroes", announced by the human rights organization "Mashr" in the nomination "For active Charity Activities". The Fund helps low-income families and orphans by conducting actions of spreading foodstuffs and clothes.

"The head of the 'Tesham' Fund, Akhmed Kostoev, was among the participants of the rally in October 2018," the "Fortanga.org" writes.

Khamza Oskanov, the Executive Director of the Fund, has noted that law enforcers behaved correctly and said that the inspection "is of no political nature," the "Kavkaz.Realii" writes.
