"AniDag" festival organizers refrain from claims to Israfilov
Akhmed Israfilov, detained within the case of the disruption of the anime festival and a concert of Yegor Kreed in Makhachkala, was released under recognizance not to leave, a source has reported. The festival organizers refuse to treat Israfilov as the main culprit in disrupting the event.
The court has ruled not to arrest Israfilov, a suspect of extremism, a source of the "Interfax" has informed.
The detention of Israfilov three months after the incident seems to be an indicative measure, said Svetlana Anokhina, a journalist. She believes that Israfilov is not the main initiator of the disruption of the anime festival.
Angelina Polskikh, the organizer of the "AniDag", failed to identify Israfilov by appearance and is not sure that he was present on the day of the festival disruption at the Avar Theatre.
The co-organizer of the festival also could not name Israfilov as the disruption initiator. She did not rule out that he could be one of the instigators or just a "random person."
