Woman from Ingushetia publicly explains her criticism of Chechen authorities
Makka Khamkhoeva, a resident of Ingushetia, explained she felt aggrieved when she said that the Chechen authorities should help those in need and not give gifts to female singers.
On February 7, the "Grozny" TV Channel showed in the news a story with the participation of Nazran resident Makka Khamkhoeva, who together with other migrants addressed the leader of Chechnya for assistance and expressed criticism for the gifts to the female singers.
Makka Khamkhoeva complained that she with her husband had to live in rented apartments. According to the woman, she appealed for help to the leader of Chechnya, went to Grozny, but received no help.
According to the story shown by the "Grozny" TV Channel, the woman "also mentioned the Chechen authorities in her sometimes provocative statements." Makka Khamkhoeva met the Vice-Mayor of Grozny, who explained to her that under the current laws, the authorities "were not able to help her."
"I felt aggrieved, and I expressed it out loud. And not against Ramzan Kadyrov," explained Makka Khamkhoeva.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported about cases on public condemnation of Chechen women, who asked for help with the solution of their housing problems and criticized the authorities. So, in 2016, the Grozny authorities declared Birlant Dakaeva, who addressed Ramzan Kadyrov for help, a deceiver.
