Kadyrov's deputy permanent representative detained in Crimea

Ramzan Kadyrov stood up for Murad Saidov, the deputy of his permanent representative in the Crimea, who was detained after the conflict with a Chechen businessman, who lives in the Crimea. According to Kadyrov, Saidov legally owned the firearm seized from him.

The detention took place on February 6 in a restaurant of the town of Saki. Armed people beat up Ibragim Aliev, a businessman of Chechen origin; he was seriously injured. The conflict had to do with Aliev's entrepreneurial activities: he was forced to give out a stake in his business, but he refused, the "Moscow Speaking" Radio Station reports referring to its law enforcement source.

According to the source, Murad Saidov, the deputy of Isa Khachukaev, Kadyrov's permanent representative in the Crimea, was suspected of extortion. "Firearms, including a golden pistol, and ammunition were seized from the detainees," the Radio reports.

Ramzan Kadyrov himself has commented on the incident in the Crimea. He claims that two Chechens quarrelled and made a conflict "because of business claims."

Speaking about the seized firearms, Kadyrov stood up for Saidov, stating that the deputy permanent representative worked "on the voluntary basis and kept the seized firearms with the necessary permits," Kadyrov stated in his Telegram channel.
