Dagestani MPs report clarification of borders with Kalmykia and Stavropol Territory

On February 5, Khizri Shikhsaidov, Speaker of the People's Assembly, announced that the authorities of Dagestan clarify the borders not only with Chechnya, but also with other regions. The work is conducted "openly and transparently," notes Khazali Misiev, a Dagestani MP.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on February 5, Khizri Shikhsaidov and Magomed Daudov, the chairman of the Chechen parliament, met in Grozny to discuss the border between Dagestan and Chechnya. The discussion was held without any conflicts, stated Shamil Khadulaev, a member of the Dagestani delegation. He showed a fragment of a map with a border along Kezenoy-am Lake.

The authorities of Dagestan simultaneously conduct land surveying with Kalmykia and the Stavropol Territory, reports Khizri Shikhsaidov as quoted by the TASS.
