In Volgograd and Shakhty, school classes disrupted by reports of bombs

In Volgograd, law enforcers check information about mine planting in 16 buildings, including schools and hospitals. In the city of Shakhty in the Rostov Region, reports of bombs turned out to be false, but for the safety of children, classes in all schools have been cancelled today.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on January 30, after reports of mine planting, people were evacuated from schools, hospitals, shopping centres, markets, and administrative buildings in Kuban, the Stavropol Territory, the Astrakhan Region, and in Ingushetia. After checks, the law enforcement bodies reported that the information about the bombs was false.

Today, in Volgograd, there have been reports of mine planting in 16 houses, including schools, hospitals, and administrative buildings, reports an official from the press service for the regional administration. "The information came by e-mail," the official noted.

According to him, experts are engaged in checking the information, the "Interfax-South" reports.

The number of reports on mine planting "is growing every minute," reports an informed source of the "Interfax-South".

Today, in the city of Shakhty in the Rostov Region, classes have been cancelled in all schools because of the reports on mine planting. "All schools are under heavy guard," reports the City Mayoralty's press service.

On January 30, several city schools received e-mails about bombs, but the reports were not confirmed, reported the city administration in its press release.
