Reports on bombs led to evacuations in Ingushetia and Stavropol Territory

Mass evacuations from schools and hospitals took place in Ingushetia and in Stavropol after receiving reports about mining; visitors to the marketplace and shopping centres were also evacuated.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today, mining reports caused mass evacuations in Astrakhan and a number of cities of the Krasnodar Territory.

Evacuations were also undertaken in dwelling settlements of Ingushetia; in Nazran, they covered two schools, a gymnasium and the republic's dermatovenerology dispensary. "Information about the mining of schools and medical institutions came to email addresses of these entities," the "Interfax" quotes its own source.

The territorial antiterrorist commissions have reported that information about mining was not confirmed, the "Interfax" has informed.

Reports about planted hazardous items were received today in Stavropol, but none of them was confirmed, the TASS has informed today with reference to the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).

The number of people evacuated in Ingushetia and in the Stavropol Territory is not specified.
