Attackers on DSP post in Nalchik buried in Ingush village

The four residents of Ingushetia, killed during the attack on the DPS (road-and-patrol service) post patrol in Nalchik, the capital of Kabardino-Balkaria, were buried in their native village of Sagopshi. Their relatives said they did not know anything about the reasons of the attack.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in the evening on January 24 an attack was conducted on DPS officers in Nalchik. Three of the four attackers were killed, another died in hospital. A policeman was stabbed in the attack; he is in the intensive care unit.

The list of attackers, released on January 24 by the Telegram channel "Oper Slil" (Operative Agent Has Leaked) contains four names: Mansur Bokov and three Esmurzievs – Adam Isaevich, Amir Yusupovich and Albert Akhmedovich. The oldest of them was born in 1989, the youngest one – in 2001. All of them, according to the list, lived in the rural settlement (village) of Sagopshi.

The casualties' bodies were given out right away, Yusup Esmurziev, the father of one of them, said. "The funeral is on; people are coming and express their condolences," he told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent today.

According to the father, he does not know why his son occurred in Nalchik. "My son and I were engaged in construction. He was a very simple boy, he wasn't different in anything. I don't know why he went there – perhaps, it was someone's influence. I guess he read a lot of something on the Internet. There are a lot of provocateurs; and there's a lot they write on the Internet; they are calling, but for some reason they don't catch the provocateurs," said Yusup Esmurziev.
