Several persons executed Ibragim Belharoev's murder

At the venue of the attack on Ibragim Belkharoev, shell cases of two different calibres were found, the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) informs. The criminal case was initiated under the article about the murder committed by a group of persons.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Ibragim Belkharoev, a well-known religious figure and a great-grandson of Sheikh Batal-Haji Belkhoroev, was killed at night on December 31 in Nazran. His driver Abo Aushev was wounded during the shelling; he was operated on, and, according to doctors, now, there is no threat to his life.

Ibragim Belkharoev was buried on December 31 in the ancestral cemetery in the village of Surkhakhi.

The attack was committed in Nazran at the intersection of Oskanova and Pionerskaya Streets. Shell cases of calibres 7.62 and 5.45 mm were found in the venue, says the website of the Investigating Department (ID) for the Republic of Ingushetia of the ICRF.

Let us remind you that earlier Ibragim Belkharoev survived two attempts on his life. In May 2016, a law enforcement source said that unknown people had blown up Ibragim's car in Nazran near Belkharoev's house. Later, the spokesman for the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) clarified that the car was burned down – there was no explosion. On October 23, 2017, a court found a resident of Ingushetia guilty of blowing up Belkharoev's car and sentenced him to 3.5 years in prison. In September 2008, Ibragim Belkharoev was wounded in Nazran during a car explosion.
