Ingush students complain about beatings during searches in Moscow
Lawyers-members of the Ingush community in Moscow were attracted to work with complaints of the students of the Russian State Geological Prospecting University (RSGPU), who claim that they were beaten up during a search of the dormitory; a total of eight complaints were made, the Ingush Permanent Mission on Moscow has reported.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in the morning on December 17, sources told about the detention of about 20 Ingush students in the dormitory of the RSGPU in Moscow. The next day, the spokesman of the Ingush Permanent Mission clarified that 36 Ingush students had been detained, but all of them were already at large.
Lawyers-members of the Ingush community in Moscow were invited for drawing up applications to the prosecutor's office from the recruited from the RSGPU students detained during a search of the dormitory, Natalia Mkrtchyan, the spokesperson of the Ingush Permanent Mission, has explained, adding that a total of eight applications were compiled.
"The authors thereof are students who complained about beatings during the detention," she said.
Apart from complaints about bodily injuries, students tell that during searches law enforcers seized money and mobile phones and did not give the stuff back.
