Law enforcers name the Dagestani casualty

In the evening on December 7, in the Khasavyurt District, Marat Alinchiev, who had been on the federal wanted list, was shot dead, according to reports posted on the websites and Telegram channels that support law enforcers. The man, who was found by law enforcers, refused to surrender and was shot dead after he opened fire, the Russian National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC) has stated.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on December 7, law enforcers killed an armed man during a special operation conducted in the vicinity of the village of Endirei of the Khasavyurt District. According to a law enforcement source, the casualty was the last member of the Endirei grouping of militants, which has now been completely liquidated.

"After refusing to lay down arms and surrender, he opened fire on law enforcers and was neutralized during the shootout," says the report posted on December 7 on the NAC's website, adding that there were no casualties and victims among law enforcers and civilians.

According to the data available at the Operative Headquarters, the killed militant was involved in attacks on law enforcers, including this year's killing of policemen in the Kizilyurt District of Dagestan, and was a member of the grouping of supporters of the "Islamic State" (IS), recognized as a terrorist organization and banned in Russia by the court, the NAC reports and posts a video from the venue of the special operation.
