Residents of Ingush Yandare village report about murder of a former law enforcer
Murderers of Ismail Barkhanoev, a former staff member of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), knocked on his house and shot at him through the door when the man came to knock. The victim had a wife and a little daughter, villagers reported.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on November 25, in the village of Yandare, a former policeman was killed, who served sentence for a murder. According to a source, investigators consider blood feud as a motive for the crime.
Ismail Barkhanoev was sentenced for killing his colleague during a quarrel, said Ismail Padiev, the head of the village administration.
"By accident or deliberately, Ismail fired a shot ... The man was killed, and three children were left orphans," noted the head of the village Yandare.
After being released from the penal colony, Ismail Barkhanoev got a job and got married, and in the summer of 2018, his daughter was born, said a neighbour of the Barkhanoev family.
The woman believes that blood feud was the motive for the murder: that is why Barkhanoev was killed not immediately after his release, but after he started a family.
