Rosgvardia agent killed in Dagestan
An employee of the "Rosgvardia" (Russian National Guard), who interfered into a conflict that broke out among visitors of a cafe in Makhachkala, was killed during a shootout. Two more men were wounded.
At night on November 18, the above "Rosgvardia" serviceman, "being at his off-service time, at the entrance to one of the city cafes, decided to stop a group conflict of people there," the "Interfax" reports referring to the press service of the Dagestani Branch of the "Rosgvardia".
According to a "Rosgvardia" source, one of the participants in the quarrel opened fire; the "Rosgvardia" serviceman opened returned fire and wounded the gunman, but received a fatal wound himself.
Another informed source told the "Interfax" that another café visitor was wounded and taken to the Republic's Trauma Centre; he is in the intensive care ward but conscious and interrogated by investigators.
