In October 2018, eight persons fell victim to armed conflict in Northern Caucasus

In October 2018, at least eight persons fell victim to the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus. Of them, five were killed and other three were wounded. These are the results of the calculations run by the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from other open sources.

In Dagestan, five persons fell victim to the conflict. During the counterterrorist operation (CTO), two suspected members of the armed underground were killed, and three law enforcers were wounded.

In Kabardino-Balkaria, suspected members of the armed underground shot and killed a policeman, and people suspected of the murder were also killed during an attempt to detain them.

In Ingushetia, Karachay-Cherkessia, North Ossetia-Alania, the Stavropol Territory, and Chechnya, no victims to the conflict were registered.
