In the 3rd quarter of 2018, in Karachay-Cherkessia, no one fell victim to armed conflict

In July, August and September 2018, in Karachay-Cherkessia, no one fell victim to the ongoing armed conflict in Northern Caucasus. These are the results of the calculations run by the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from other open sources.

Meanwhile, in the first and second quarter of 2018, no one fell victim to the armed conflict in the republic.

The provided statistics cannot reflect the number of victims with the 100 percent accuracy. Not all information is included in the news reports. It is not always possible to check the reliability of the statements voiced by the law enforcement bodies. Besides, new facts about the events of the reporting period become often known after the statistics had been already published on the "Caucasian Knot".

In the third quarter of 2017, also no one fell victim to the armed conflict in the republic.

In total, in 2017, in Karachay-Cherkessia, at least five people fell victim to the ongoing armed conflict in Northern Caucasus. All of them were killed. In 2016, no one fell victim to the armed conflict in the republic. In 2015, at least four persons fell victim to the ongoing armed conflict in the Karachay-Cherkessian Republic (KChR) in Northern Caucasus. All of them were killed.

In 2014, in Karachay-Cherkessia, no one fell victim to the armed conflict. In 2013, at least seven persons fell victim to the conflict in the republic. Of them, five persons were killed and other two were wounded. In 2012, in Karachay-Cherkessia, seven persons fell victim to the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus. Of them, five were killed and other two were wounded. In 2011, 34 people fell victim to the armed conflict, including 22 killed and 12 wounded.
