On October 28-November 4, no casualties were recorded of armed conflict in Northern Caucasus

During the week from October 28 to November 4, 2018, nobody fell victim to the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus. These are the results of the calculations run by the "Caucasian Knot", based on its own materials and information from other open sources.

Detentions

On November 1, in Dagestan, law enforcers detained Bagavudin Omarov, the organizer of a unit of the "At-Takfir Val-Hidjra", an extremist organization, banned in Russia, and four followers of this religious association. Their homes were searched, and a large amount of extremist literature and materials was found and seized. In respect of Bagavudin Omarov, a case was initiated under the article "Organization of the activities of an extremist organization".

Disappearances

On October 29, Mussa Tsechoev and his relative Ibragim Gutsariev, residents of Ingushetia, left for Chechnya and did not return. Tsechoev, 32, lived in the city of Sunzha; and Gutsariev, 34, lived in the village of Kantyshevo in the Nazran District. Both missing persons had mobile phones and documents on them.
