MoJ decides to close fund of organizer of "Putin's Detachments"
The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) of the Krasnodar Territory has initiated the liquidation of the "Social Justice" Charity Fund, created by Marat Dinaev, the head of the "Putin Detachments" movement.
In May, Dinaev already reported about attempts by local authorities to close the fund. According to his story, he and five other activists reported about a hunger strike, but the experts interviewed by the "Caucasian Knot" doubted that it ever held.
Members of "Putin's Detachments" attacked the Krasnodar office of the opposition politician Alexei Navalny; and in April they demanded to close the Telegram Messenger, declaring Pavel Durov, the creator thereof, to be a "traitor."
In 2015 and in June 2018, the MoJ already audited the "Social Justice" Fund. In 2015, the MoJ concluded that certain provisions of the charter of the fund failed to meet the requirements of the legislation.
