In May 2018, 15 people fell victim to armed conflict in Northern Caucasus

In May 2018, at least 15 people fell victim to the ongoing armed conflict in Northern Caucasus. Of them, 10 were killed and other five was wounded. These are the results of the calculations run by the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from other open sources.

In May 2018, in Chechnya, 10 people fell victim to the armed conflict. Of them, seven were killed and other three were wounded. In the course of a militant attack on the Church of Archangel Michael in Grozny, two law enforcers, one civilian, and four suspected members of the armed underground were killed. Two law enforcers and one civilian were injured.

In May 2018, in the Stavropol Territory, five people fell victim to the armed conflict. Of them, three were killed and other two were injured. As a result of an attack on policemen and in an attempt of detention of people suspected of involvement in the armed underground, three suspected militants were killed, and two law enforcers were wounded.

In May 2018, in Dagestan, Ingushetia, Kabardino-Balkaria, Karachay-Cherkessia, and in North Ossetia-Alania, no victims to the armed conflict were registered.
