Detentions

On October 23, it became known that four residents of the Buynaksk District of Dagestan, including two teenagers, had been detained on suspicion of illegal arms trafficking. Law enforcers detained the young men with weapons two kilometres off the village of Manasaul, Buynaksk District. According to investigators, the young people have illegally purchased from an unknown person "two revolvers, one pistol, two grenades and more than 100 cartridges," after which they were illegally carrying the firearms on them. Reports about the disappearance of four young people in Buynaksk appeared on social networks last week; their relatives did not know their whereabouts for several days. They consider that the weapons were planted on the young men.
