Protesters leave square in Magas

In Magas, participants of the rally will distribute to the needy the food products brought for the protesters, activists report. On October 31, with the start of the new rally, protesters will pay tribute to the memory of the people who fell victim to the Ossetian-Ingush conflict, reports rights defender Magomed Mutsolgov.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the authorities of Ingushetia refused to extend a sanction for the rally in Magas from October 18, but sanctioned the rally to be held by opponents of the border agreement with Chechnya in the period from October 31 to November 2. The organizers of the rally proposed to interrupt the action for the preparation of the World Congress of the Ingush People.

"All the drinks and food left will be distributed to those in need in our republic through the 'Tesham' Charitable Foundation," said activist Adam Khamkhoev.

Activists Barakh Chemurziev and Akhmet Barakhoev announced the convocation of the World Congress of the Ingush People on October 31. The date is the beginning of a new stage of actions for opponents of the border agreement with Chechnya, explains Magomed Mutsolgov, the head of the human rights organization "Mashr" and an author of a blog on the "Caucasian Knot".
