Relatives complain about being not allowed to visit detained residents of Grozny

On October 5, four young men were detained in the Oktyabrsky District of Grozny. Their family members cannot get information about the reasons for the detention, relatives report.

Shamil Ortsuev, Arbi Ichaev, Abdul-Malik Suleimanov, and Mokhmad Elbiev were taken away by law enforcers to some unknown destination, the detainees' relatives told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

"The most terrible thing is uncertainty. They take a person away with them early in the morning and explain nothing," noted a woman from Grozny.

Let us remind you that on September 4, it became known about the detention of young people from the village of Koshkeldy. According to the villagers, the young men were detained after a flag of the "Islamic State" (IS), a terrorist organization banned in Russia, appeared on the outskirts of the village. Kheda Saratova, a member of the Human Rights Council under the leader of Chechnya, reported on the release of the young people.
