October 6 announced mourning day in Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh

The Armenian Premier, Nikol Pashinyan, has announced October 6, the day of funeral of chansonier Charles Aznavour, a mourning day. Nagorno-Karabakh has done the same.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 2, in Stepanakert, more than 500 people gathered for a divine service in Saint Akop Church and lit candles in memory of Aznavour. Earlier, Nikol Pashinyan said that a mourning day in Armenia would be declared on Aznavour's funeral.

Charles Aznavour is a world-famous French singer-chansonier, poet, composer, writer and actor of Armenian origin.

The Armenian delegation, including Nikol Pashinyan, his wife Anna Akopyan, ministers of foreign affairs and culture, the Armenian ambassador to France and others, will visit the funeral of the chansonier in France, the "Sputnik-Armenia" writes with reference to the website of the Armanian government.
