Volgograd: workers of "Krasny Oktiabr" Factory complain about salary delays
Workers of the Volgograd "Krasny Oktiabr" (Red October) Factory are afraid of losing their jobs due to the bankruptcy of the enterprise. They face salary delays.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 14, Dmitry Gerasimenko, the owner of the "Krasny Oktiabr", stated that the criminal prosecution of factory bosses and the introduction of monitoring procedures at the factory had been organized in order to capture the enterprise.
As noted by Yegor Fomenko, the director for legal issues of the "Krasny Oktiabr" group, the factory had repeatedly undergone the bankruptcy procedure. Now, the factory employs about 3000 workers.
"It's important for us that the factory doesn't go bankrupt; so that we could work further and receive our wages. If there's bankruptcy, everyone will be fired; and we won't be able to find another workplace of this sort," said a man, who, as he explained, is engaged in metal processing at the factory.
