Two policemen wounded in attack in Dagestan

In the Khasavyurt District, an unidentified person wounded policemen after their request to produce his ID, the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) for Dagestan reported.

The incident occurred in the village of Toturbiykala at about 11:00 p.m. Moscow time on August 29.

The law enforcers asked the man to produce his ID, since he looked suspicious for them. Instead of producing the document, the man took out a gun, fired at the policemen, and then fled, the TASS reports with reference to the press service for the Dagestani MIA.

The unidentified man had a car, the RIA "Novosti" reports with reference to the report released by the Dagestani MIA.

According to the MIA, the policemen stay in severe state. They are brought to the hospital, and their lives are out of danger.
