Rally of farmers held under law enforcers' control

In the Krasnosulin District, Rostov Region, 15 activists went out to protest, demanding from the authorities to pay attention to farmers' land problems.

The rally was held on August 12 in the Bozhkovo rural settlement in the Krasnosulin District, on the land of the farmer Evgeny Ptitsyn.

Evgeny Ptitsyn himself told that since 2016 he owns a land plot, which, according to his version, they "began alienating from him in parts since 2009."

Other farmers-participants in the action also told about violations of their rights.

The protesters have stated that "if things fail to progress within a month, other rallies will follow."

By the start of the rally, two policemen arrived at the venue. They recorded the data of the audience and took explanations. Approximately an hour later, three more policemen came. They asked to show the documents permitting the rally, as well as a document confirming that it is the land of Ptitsyn.

After standing for two hours and having not found out with the policemen whether it was a legitimate rally or not, the participants folded their posters, got into their cars and left, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent has reported.
