Five people suffer at helicopter emergency landing in Georgia
Three pilots, a border guard and a policeman were injured in an emergency landing of a helicopter in the Kakheti region. The health condition of four victims is treated as stably grave; one person has undergone surgery.
The incident occurred today near the frontier point near the village of Artana. The helicopter belongs to the Frontier Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Georgia As a result of the emergency landing, three pilots, one border guard and one patrol police officer, who were on board, were injured. They were on their way to a subdivision of the Frontier Police by the way of personnel rotation, the "Sputnik-Georgia" reports referring to the MIA.
According to doctors, one of the five victims was operated on; the condition of the other four is stably grave, the "Georgia Online" reports.
It is noted that the helicopter was technically in good order. The emergency accident is being investigated.
