Husband of Georgian President's daughter stays in stable condition, doctors report

Mindiya Gogochuri, a husband of a Georgian President's daughter, got four gunshot wounds. He underwent surgery and was placed to a resuscitation ward.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that tonight, Mindiya Gogochuri has been subjected to an armed attack in Tbilisi. The victim was taken to the Republican hospital with gunshot wounds.

The incident occurred in the Saburtalo District of the Georgian capital. Mindiya Gogochuri was taken to the hospital by his friend. The young man underwent surgery at the hospital, the "Rustavi-2" TV Channel reports.

The wounded man stays in stable condition. He got four perforating gunshot wounds to the thigh and shin areas, reported his attending physician. According to him, Mindiya Gogochuri has got no damage to important arteries.

According to the attending physician, Mindiya Gogochuri can be questioned after he is transferred from the resuscitation to ordinary ward, the "Georgia-Online" reports. Meanwhile, the law enforcement bodies have not yet detained anyone on suspicion of attacking Mindiya Gogochuri, the edition reports.
