Nikol Pashinyan accuses protesters of sabotage

Today, Nikol Pashinyan, Prime Minister of Armenia, has re-voiced his demand to stop actions of civil disobedience. He has called such actions the sabotage.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Nikol Pashinyan came to power on the wave of protest actions against Serzh Sargsyan, who was the Prime Minister of Armenia. However, protests did not stop after Nikol Pashinyan had come to power. On May 17, the Prime Minister of Armenia addressed citizens of the country with a request for appealing to appropriate authorities to solve their problems and not to come to the streets.

Today, Nikol Pashinyan has again addressed residents of Armenia with a demand to stop protest actions.

"Dear compatriots, once again I ask you, I call on and demand to stop all actions of civil disobedience without exception and cooperate with the government on all existing problems," Nikol Pashinyan wrote on his Facebook page.

According to him, to carry out actions of civil disobedience against the government of people's trust "means to conduct actions of civil disobedience against oneself."

  • Khamzat Kadyrov confirms drone attack on Chechnya
