IS disseminates a video with Paris terrorist swearing allegiance to militants

According to the version of the terrorist organization "Islamic State" (IS) banned in Russia, a native of Chechnya, who committed a terror act in Paris, mentioned his attack was provoked by France bombing his companions.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on May 12, in Paris, a man attacked passers-by with a knife. He killed one person and wounding four others. The attacker was identified as Khamzat Azimov, a native of Chechnya. Ramzan Kadyrov, the leader of Chechnya, laid the blame for his deed on France.

The IS news agency disseminated a video in which the man who attacked people in Paris swore allegiance to the IS, the NGO SITE Intelligence Group reports. In the video, the man speaks French and swear allegiance to the IS, the Voice of America reports.

According to the newspaper "Kommersant", in Paris, Chechens are "extremely concerned over the fact that law enforcers focus on the origin of the criminal."

"We strongly condemn those who, under the cover of religion, commit serious crimes against innocent people," said an activist of the Chechen Diaspora in Paris.
