"Elk" nominates Nikol Pashinyan to be Prime Minister of Armenia

MPs from the oppositional "Elk" bloc have unanimously voted to nominate their leader Nikol Pashinyan to be the Prime Minister of Armenia.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today, two MPs from the ARF "Dashnaktsutyun" have announced their support of Nikol Pashinyan and the ARF "Dashnaktsutyun" itself has announced its withdrawal from the coalition with the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA). Nikol Pashinyan, supported by the opposition "Elk" and "Tsarukyan" blocs with total of 40 mandates in the Parliament, is to get the support of 11 more MPs to secure the possibility to become the Prime Minister of Armenia.

Today, the faction of the opposition "Elk" bloc has held a meeting, during which all its delegates supported the nomination of Nikol Pashinyan for the post of the Prime Minister of the country, announces the statement disseminated by the faction as quoted by the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
